The Quincy Police Department has released photos of the suspect behind the stabbing that left a 43-year-old woman in critical condition, and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the assailant.
The department said the suspect, described as a 5’8” Asian male, would face a charge of assault with intent to murder for the early morning stabbing Feb. 26 at the Jazz Moon Karaoke Bar, located at 217 Quincy Ave. inside Kam Man Plaza. Police said the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
The assailant was wearing a puffy green three-quarter length jacket, hooded sweatshirt during the attack. He fled the scene in a black SUV with an unknown license plate.

The stabbing was reported around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 26. When officers arrived at the karaoke bar, they found the victim on the ground surrounded by a large amount of blood. Officers then performed life-saving measures on the woman, who police said was stabbed more than five times and lost a large amount of blood.
The victim was rushed to Boston Medical Center and remained in critical condition as of Tuesday.
