Quincy police are looking for the suspect who robbed an AT&T store at gunpoint Thursday evening, taking about a dozen iPhones.
The suspect entered the store, located at 70 Quincy Ave., shortly before 6:30 p.m. Thursday, according to Sgt. Karyn Barkas. The suspect at first told a store employee he was looking for a charger for his iPad, but 10 minutes later he pulled a gun from a bag and demanding the iPhones.
“He pointed the gun at the clerk and stated he wanted the iPhones 8s,” Barkas said.
The suspect made off with 10 to 15 iPhone 8s, Barkas said, with an estimated value of $14,000. He fled on foot from the store.
The suspect was described as 5-foot tall black male, approximately 18 years old, with a thin build and dark complexion. He was wearing a green Tommy Hilfiger jacket, a gray hoody, numerous chains and had a green bag.
