50 ‘Polar Plungers’ Help Raise $1,000 For Atherton Hough PTO

About 50 hearty souls took the plunge Saturday at the public landing in Houghs Neck to help raise money for the Atherton Hough School PTO. The fourth annual "Polar Plunge" raised about $1,000 for the PTO, organizers said. The event, originally scheduled for Jan. 6, was postponed three weeks due to ice in the bay and extreme sub-freezing temperatures. Story, other photos in next week's Quincy Sun.
